What PayHour is
PayHour is an independent website at flexitt.site. It has a single purpose: the Pay Hour Calculator, a free tool that estimates gross pay from an hourly rate, shift times, breaks and overtime rules. There is no account, no paywall and no email required to use it.
Why we built it
Hourly pay looks simple until a real schedule gets involved. Unpaid breaks, shifts that cross midnight, weekly and daily overtime, and the difference between weekly and monthly income all change the answer. Many calculators skip those details, hide their formulas or bury the result under clutter. We wanted one calculator that loads fast, works well on a phone, explains its math and gives a result you can follow.

How we keep the calculator accurate
Calculations use whole minutes and whole cents so totals stay exact. The formulas are published on the calculator page, and the worked examples there are checked against the tool before each update. We test regular shifts, overnight shifts, long breaks, weekly overtime, daily overtime and a full seven-day week. Every change to the math is reviewed against hand-worked examples before it goes live.
Overtime and tax guidance on the site is drawn from official U.S. Department of Labor and IRS pages, which are linked at the bottom of the calculator page along with the date of our last review.
Corrections
If you find a wrong result or an outdated statement, tell us through the contact page. Include your rate, times, breaks and overtime settings so we can reproduce it. We fix confirmed errors and update the review date on the page that changed.

Privacy and funding
The calculator runs in your browser, and the numbers you enter are not sent to our server. Read the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy for details. PayHour is free to use. If we show advertising in the future, ads will be clearly separated from the calculator and will never change or influence a result. We will update our privacy and cookie pages before any advertising begins.
